Tik Tok browsing history

It happens that when watching videos on TikTok, you want to return to one of your favorites. For most users, it is not at all obvious how this is done. In the same browsers, there is a separate function with which you can see the visited websites. But is there something similar in TikTok? This article is devoted to this topic. Let’s figure out where Tik Tok browsing history is located and how to get to it.

Explanation of the situation

First, let’s clarify the whole situation. The main difficulty lies in the fact that the creators of TikTok for some reason did not add such a feature to their application. Unfortunately, there is no section with a list of all watched videos, and it is simply pointless to look for it. What are the solutions here?

There are only 2 working methods to choose from:

  • If the app hasn’t closed or crashed recently, you can rewind the viewed TikToks by swiping down on the watch page.
  • If the video was “Like”, it will be displayed on a separate profile page, which can be opened without any problems.

Let’s look at each of them in more detail.

First way: Scroll through watched videos

In fact, Tik Tok has a partially implemented browsing history, but this feature is greatly curtailed and does not help in all cases. The point is that the application saves which videos the user has watched. But this information is reset as soon as it closes or is unloaded from the device’s memory, for example, in connection with a flight.

It turns out that you can return to those TikToks that you saw relatively recently. Visit the Home tab on the bottom panel and swipe (swipe) down to go to the previous video. In this way, you can scroll to the first video that was playing immediately after launching the mobile application. Swipe down while watching videos

The same feature is available in the browser version of TikTok. The only difference is that switching is carried out due to the icons in the form of arrows.

Unfortunately, this method is very limited in its use, because after closing the application, the entire history is reset. But if this has not happened yet, then you can return to the previously seen videos.

But what to do if the browsing history has already been reset? Let’s deal with this issue.

Second method: Examining the Liked Videos list in the user’s profile

Browsing history, due to its limitations, does not help in all situations. Therefore, the “Like” section, which is in the mobile application and in the browser version of Tik Tok, deserves special mention. It saves all the videos that you like while watching.

On smartphones and tablets, you can open it like this:

  1. Find “Profile” in the bottom panel and tap on it.
  2. Next, click on the heart icon below the description.Go to Liked Videos Page
  3. See which videos you liked.

The easiest way to navigate is by the covers, but you can also scroll through the videos in order.

View this list will also be released in the browser version of Tik Tok. For this:

  1. On the website page, click on the profile avatar to bring up the menu.
  2. Immediately after, go to the “View Profile” page.Item View profile in context menu on the site
  3. And then open the list “Liked”.
  4. Swipe to find the clip you want.

End of article

Perhaps, after some time, TikTok developers will add this feature to their application, because many users ask for it. But at the moment such innovations are not planned, in any case, no one is talking about it.

In order not to get into an unpleasant situation in the future, if possible, like Tiktoks that you like. You can also add them to “Favorites” if you hold your finger on a specific video and select the appropriate item in the menu.
