Draft in Tik Tok

The Tik Tok application has flooded various social networks. Few remained of those who have not yet tried to shoot there or at least have not downloaded it. There is a fairly convenient system for saving videos. There is also an “intermediate” option. It is about him that will be discussed in the article. Let’s discuss what draft in Tik Tok is.

What is TikTok Drafts

The convenience of draft videos is that each user can shoot and “postpone” a video for himself in a special folder with the appropriate name. It’s in the “Me” tab in the bottom menu on the right. They can be edited and posted at any other convenient time.

Drafts are saved only on your device. Even if you log into your account from a different location, you won’t be able to interact with them. If you delete Tik Tok from your account, all pending videos will be deleted after it.

Navigation

Let’s try to shoot a video and send it to this folder. We do this:

1. Go to the plus icon in the center of the bottom menu.
2. Selecting music.
3. Recording a video, as we described in our other article.
4. After editing, press “Next“.
5. A new screen opens, where instead of the “Publish” button, we select “Drafts“.

Excellent. The video has been postponed until better times. Now let’s try to get back to it.

To do this, go to the “Me” tab.

Then click on the cover of one of the latest video footage from the left side.

So what can we do? The “Select” button is available to us. With it, you can delete one or more videos.

Before us will be a list of all these delayed drafts. We can click on the “Create new video” button. This will give you the opportunity to shoot something new, but with the same sound.

If we tap on a certain video from the list, we will open the usual editing window. We can work with it in the usual mode, and then either save it again as drafts or publish it already.

How to restore a draft on Tik Tok

But there is a small way out if you need to clear the space in the folder. You can upload videos to private access, i.e. only for yourself. To do this, before publishing, select in the tab “Who can view this video” — “Only me”.

Failures

If for some reason the videos are not available, you can contact TikTok support. For this:

1. Click on the three parallel lines in the upper right corner.
2. Opens “Settings and privacy“.
3. Scroll down to the “Support” tab.
4. Click on “Report a Problem“.
5. Select “Videos and Sounds“.
6. Going to “Drafts“.

Then you can choose one of your problems. You will be given a small solution text, if it does not fit, click on “Need more help?“. After that, an additional field will open where you can describe your mistake, as well as attach screenshots if necessary.

Clogging memory

With a large number of saved delayed videos, you should remember that the device memory will fill up one way or another, but slowly. Now the main question is on the agenda – what to do with it?

We recommend clearing the cache in the application more often. Delete those drafts that are already losing their relevance, or transfer them to private ones by posting them under a padlock to your profile.

Keep to yourself

There is also no direct save path. Perhaps this feature will appear later. Therefore, to import a specific draft to your device, you will need to try a little:

1. We have to select access only for ourselves in the “Who can view” tab.
2. Then click on “Post“.
3. After posting, go to your profile and go to this video. It will be in the third tab with a lock.
4. Click on it, then click on the three dots.
5. “Save video“.

The draft will be saved to your gallery with a watermark Tik Toka. After the procedure, the video will disappear from the drafts, and you can delete it from the profile yourself.
